Pocket Square (Turtle in a Whirlpool / Edo Purple)

This design depicts an auspicious turtle swimming in a fierce whirlpool. A turtle that survives in a rough sea is considered a symbol of longevity. The name “Edo Purple” comes from the purple gromwell plant, which used to grow wild and was cultivated in various regions, and was used to create this dye.
