Pocket Square (Chrysanthemum Arabesque / Plum Purple)

This is a sophisticated pattern used by the imperial family combined with the arabesque design popular in Japan.
Like “Plum Grey,” which appears in dye sample books from the late Edo to early Meiji periods, “Plum Purple” is believed to be a relatively new dye name.
